G was going on vacation and needed someone to take care of the plant.  G targeted M first counting on their breakfast relationship.

M “water a plant? G, you know my infamous green thumbs killed a cactus before… ” – eyes rolling heavenward

G gave M a dirty look, turned to C.

C “I am afraid you "mis-overestimated" my caring ability” - with an innocent yet vile GW smile

G signed, looked to J as the next prospect,

J “I want minimum responsibility.  This is too much” - emotionless face competing with Kevin Spacey

The searching was under siege, G stared at A, almost begging.

A “You should have gotten a plastic one!" - ice cold as the coffee

D passed by, condemning all for being heartless and offered to take care of the poor creature. 

“Can I use hot tea?  That is the only thing I have handy”

G “maybe I should send it to a plant shelter”  - near the edge of breaking down
